This path begins with the first steps of Felipe Ubeda in the subway stations. Guitar in hand and playing in his characteristic style; the mission was to gift unreleased music to passersby, whose sound he would later perfect with creativity, innovation and madness.
Inspired by
travel, cultures and people
In his mind there were songs, messages and ideals that should go out into the world. For this reason, he decided to go away on a journey, one that would mark a before and after in his life.
He came to know beautiful places, he met people of fascinating cultures, expanding his vision of the world and connecting with his own nature. These adventures led him to see first-hand the disaster produced by human action in even the most remote natural environments in the world.
When he returned to Chile, he was ready to write songs and tell the world about his adventures.
Stepping strong,
but without leaving a trace
And so, between the open chords of his Cigarbox Guitar, Cigarbox Man was born: the first Sustainable Rock musical project that seeks to make our world a place that is at peace with all kingdoms.
We seek to take the next step into a new, sustainable era, unprecedented in the music industry.
To do this, we are breaking the rules of the game:
- We are the first - band - to offset our carbon footprint.
- We do sustainable shows.
- Cigarbox School: workshops held in public schools, where children are taught to build musical instruments using recycled materials.
